Maria participated in the Westside Portland Open Studios Tour before moving her studio to Battle Ground, Washington in the spring of 2005. Maria's studio, built above the garage at her Portland home, featured views of the hills to the south. For the tour, the main house was cleared to create gallery space for the 200 or so art lovers who visited during the two day event. On display were finished works as well as works in progress., including eight large pieces at various stages of completion which were exhibited at the Guardino Gallery, opening October 28th.
